Mahahe Mission Station

The Mahahe mission station started 2008 when full time missionary couple, Francois and Rudina Platt decided to commit to building Gods kingdom in the north of Namibia. At prensent, Hugo Truter heads of the mission station.

The Mahahe village is situated 30 km from Rundu, one of the bigger cities in the north.

The Lord provided two pieces of land in the area for the vision we have.

This vision comprises of a self-sustaining base with a preschool, church, and teaching center for the rukwangali people.

We are currently operating the school and other activities from a large tent, but we have started building a pre-school and other buildings on the premises. The school is nearly finished, it just needs a floor and some paint before the kids can move in.

We are trusting God to build more school buildings and for more development to take place.

We have also completed the drilling and erecting of two boreholes which provide the locals with fresh ground water, and we aim to drill more of these in other villages close by.

We have regular outreaches to the mission station from all over the world. We have teams from SA and also had a team from Texas USA that visited our mission station. Lives are changed with every visit and we honour God for that.
