We offer the following services:
1. Care & Support Group
Our Care & Support Group is a safe and confidential space for anyone who needs encouragement, support, or a better understanding of mental health and addiction. Family members, parents, spouses, and friends are also welcome to attend to learn how they can support their loved ones.
Each week we discuss practical topics related to mental health, trauma, addiction, relationships, emotional wellbeing, and recovery. We help participants identify personal challenges while providing practical tools and biblical guidance for healing and growth.
When: Every Thursday
Time: 18:00 – 19:30
Venue: CFC Training Centre
2. Individual Counselling
We provide individual counselling for people who would benefit from one-on-one support. Our counselling aims to help individuals better understand their struggles and begin a journey toward lasting healing and recovery.
3. Hope & Healing Journey
This is a structured 12-week programme consisting of one session per week. Together we explore the impact of trauma, identify underlying root causes of emotional pain, and work through topics such as forgiveness, identity, emotional healing, and restoration from a biblical perspective.
4. Healing Weekends
Throughout the year we host Healing Weekends where participants spend time away from everyday pressures in a peaceful environment. During these weekends we journey through biblical principles of healing and restoration while addressing trauma, grief, emotional wounds, and personal growth.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of where you are on your journey. Whether you are personally struggling, supporting a loved one, or simply want to learn more, we would love to walk alongside you.

What they do:
Special Olympics Namibia is a sport organisation for people with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities (IDD).
What they offer:
We offer year -round sports training in different sports codes, to create friendship, belonging, joy and opportunities for people with IDD.
We work with children, youth, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These disabilities can occur before, during, or after birth, and unlike many physical disabilities, they are often invisible to the eye. This means that many of our athletes face misunderstanding, exclusion, and low expectations for their lives.
Our work is built around 5 key programs
-
Sport. Sport is the doorway into our movement. Through training and competition, our athletes develop confidence, friendships, discipline, and a sense of achievement. Recreational, developmental, or competitive sports.
-
Health. We provide health screenings, education, and access to healthcare professionals because people with intellectual disabilities often have unmet health needs. Healthy athletes are empowered athletes.
-
Education. We equip athletes, families, teachers, coaches, and communities with knowledge that promotes inclusion and helps people understand intellectual disabilities better.
-
Leadership. We believe people with intellectual disabilities should not only participate—they should lead. We train athletes to become public speakers, advocates, coaches, officials, and decision-makers within our movement.
-
Innovation. We continuously look for new ways to reach more people, create sustainable programmes, and build partnerships that allow every athlete to flourish.
We have 3000 registered athletes across 10 Regions in Namibia.
We have a Hub in Windhoek at the Katutura Youth Centre
How to become Involved
